Starbucks for north Lafayette

BY ADAM DAIGLE | Acadiana Business Editor

It was kind of a big deal when the news came out last year: an urgent care cllinic was going to open on the north side of Lafayette in the old Capital One office on Louisiana Avenue.

But that's not why I'm here this morning.

That deal did not happen, and you've probably seen the demo work going on at the site. Now the building will be divided into two retail spaces with one to house a Starbucks location.

You can read the full report here.

Not much is known about the group that bought the building months back. They also bought the old Wendy's/Burger Tyme building on Johnston Street earlier this month. Watch for something to happen with that building in the coming months.

Have a great day and thanks for reading.
