The Changing Holiday Shopper
 
The holiday shopper is tricky, according to Optimove CEO Pini Yakuel, because they are much, much more likely to be a one-and-done visitor — the type that buys one item and is never seen again. And, as more shoppers are heading online this season, that is adding up to bigger losses for retailers who aren't getting all the energy and money out of one-time customers that they put into recruiting them. According to Yakuel, retailers are better served by doubling down on existing clients — and using what they already know to secure more conversions and bigger baskets.
