We are excited to announce that the Marketing Week Awards has partnered with the Advertising Association once again to announce a free to enter award category!

The Talent Trailblazer Award celebrates the individuals and companies who are opening up the industry to new talent. We are seeking to showcase the initiatives and projects that have successfully attracted people to our vibrant industry - those who might not have seen it as a viable career path before.

Submitting your entry is simple and free. Entries close on 5 July, so don’t miss the opportunity to shine a spotlight on your efforts and be celebrated for making a difference.

We are looking for examples of initiatives that helped bring talent into the industry; this might include, but is not limited to, apprenticeships schemes, school outreach programmes, partnership initiatives and social enterprise schemes.

As part of the entry process, we will ask you three questions. These are laid out below to help you craft the perfect answer.

'What challenge were you looking to meet, and what objectives were set?'

'How did you meet the challenge? Who was involved in developing and executing the project / initiative, and how was it done?'

'What was the outcome? Please offer tangible details of how your objectives were met, and what lessons could be learnt by the rest of the industry, if appropriate.'

The winner will be unveiled at the Marketing Week Awards in November.
