This product update reflects changes to the platform from November 25, 2024, until February 4th, 2025.

- Design Shifts at HackerNoon: The Top Nav, Quick Search, and Settings Dashboard have all received major redesigns. The Top Nav now features all primary options on the top bar, with secondary links like the Merch Shop and Help Section in the side menu. Quick Search has a sleek new look, allowing you to quickly find trending stories, topics, people and more. The Settings Dashboard has also been revamped, letting you update your profile, control subscriptions, and even connect your Web3 wallet—all on a single, streamlined page 👇

- Hackernoon Decoded, launched on January 13th, recaps the top stories, writers, and trends of 2024. It highlights the best of HackerNoon and celebrates community achievements. Signed-up users can find their personal recap on their profile or by clicking "Your Decoded" on the homepage. - New AI Detector: This tool helps our editors ensure that every piece of content published on HackerNoon is either original, assisted by AI (with clear disclosure), or a republication with proper attribution. A key feature of the tool is its ability to highlight sections of drafts that used AI, as opposed to generalizing about the text as a whole, along with details of the AI model employed.
