 BY VICKI FERSTEL | Staff writer State health officials say Louisiana residents should decide for themselves whether to get vaccinated, especially for COVID-19 and influenza, drawing rebukes from some health experts. Citing concerns about the efficacy and safety of vaccines, state officials will instead encourage residents to consult their doctor about vaccination. Staff writer Sophie Kasakove has the story.
Say it ain't so! The New Orleans Saints are now eliminated from the playoffs after the Atlanta Falcons' 34-7 victory against the New York Giants on Sunday. The Saints (5-9), who play the Green Bay Packers tonight at Lambeau Field, cannot finish better than 8-9.
