If I had to choose one guru with the greatest influence on my business over the years, it would be Dan Kennedy.
Even today, many experts — including Russell Brunson, Frank Kern, and Alex Hormozi — are actually repeating a lot of wisdom they first learned from Dan Kennedy.
(That's not a knock, what I'm saying is that Dan influenced some great people)
Anyway, in one of his recent newsletters…
Dan talked about how, despite being legally blind from recent health troubles…
There’s still ONE thing he does every day without fail.
“I do at least one thing to attract business every single day no matter what else occupies that day.”
“For my entire career — except Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Easter Sunday — I went hunting for a new client,” Dan wrote.
“Doesn’t matter if I had to do it at 7 AM or 7 PM… Some days I was on-set of an infomercial all day, or traveling all day to a speaking gig… and it was the first thing I’d do after getting to the hotel room — exhausted from the day.
“I call it ‘sending ships out.’ You can’t have your ship come in if you haven’t sent it out.
“Skip one day and you risk skipping three, and before you know it, you have a new, different habit: being too busy “today” to promote. This is akin to being too busy to breathe.”
So why am I sharing this with you now?
Very simple…
If sales are slow in your business…
If you feel like you’re just not getting ahead…
The most important thing to ask yourself is this:
Are you sending out enough ships?
Or are you getting too ‘busy’... and putting off building the pipeline that feeds your business?
If you’re honest with yourself, this won’t be hard to answer.
You may realize it’s time to borrow a play from ol’ Dan Kennedy…
And prioritize finding some way to promote your business…
