| DAILY UPDATE August 6, 2017 | | |
| Greetings! | Today I'm beginning my 48th year of life and finishing up my big fundraising ride (thanks again to all those who sponsored me, that's a great birthday present!), and Stock Gumshoe will be mostly on mothballs this week while I recuperate with my family... but if you're looking for something to read, let me catch you up on anything you might have missed in the week that was. The most-discussed piece this week was also my first piece on Monday morning -- Lou Basenese's pitch about "Marked stocks" that are about to surge... just click below to... | | |
| The $50 Marijuana Investment Jackpot | | Marijuana legalization is sweeping the country... A record-breaking 8 states just passed new laws for recreational and medical use. Already dozens of tiny marijuana firms have begun skyrocketing by 100%, 300%, 500% and higher. This is your chance to turn a single $50 bill... into an absolute fortune. But you need to take action BEFORE October 1st... Click here to find out how. |

| We also re-checked that "Jeff Bezos' big bet" pitch this week -- that one's all about the microphones that make Alexa possible, and the story has gotten slightly more interesting over the past few months, that update is here. After that, by popular request, I pointed the Thinkolator at the Motley Fool's "Apple's Secret Project Stuns Investors" pitch, with results that sound a bit familiar... that story is here. The most over-the-top spiel of the week, though, has to go to Nick Hodge's breathless promotion about a penny stock whose device is going to be required by the FDA to be in every restaurant in America on November 1... what he heck is he talking about? My take is here. And the week wrapped up, as usual, with the Friday File for the Irregulars -- this time it includes thoughts about Apple and Markel among my larger holdings, as well as a few other earnings updates and some reader Q&A... all right here, enjoy!
