| WEEKLY WRAPUP September 23-4, 2017 | | |
| Greetings! | Debates continue to simmer over whether or not the Fed will raise interest rates by a quarter of a percent... but we're daydreaming about bigger things, those 1,000% gains that are hinted at by newsletter pitchmen. So which ones caught our attention this week? We started with a look at the stock Tom Gardner thinks will go up 5X for Motley Fool subscribers... what's that? Just click below to... | | |
| We then turned our gaze to Cabot's Stock of the Week service, which is promising to double your money in the next 12 months -- and they say they can do that because they're picking huge winners, like this Chinese hotel company that they think will post 1,120% returns in the next four years. That "secret" is discussed here. And Cyber-security was the pitch from Hilary Kramer this week, she's got the stock she thinks will stop North Korea's hackers... click here for our look at that one. Then it was back to gold again, with a pitch from Moe Zulfiqar... his ad says that "This Tiny Stock Is Such a Bargain the Company Spent $20 Million to Buy Its Own Stock!" That sounds exciting, right? Well, there's a little bit of hair stuck to that assertion at the moment... we look into the story here. Finally, we closed things out with the Friday File -- a look at a few gold and royalty companies that have had some news in my Real Money Portfolio, plus a quick check on a teaser about a "big data" company with incredible growth, Irregulars can see that one here. | | |
