Stocks end mixed as AstraZeneca restarts COVID-19 trials, J&J may follow

It was a choppy session for U.S. stocks which got a late day reprieve after Astra-Zeneca confirmed it will restart COVID-19 trials. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq edged out gains but the Dow was unable to shake declines from Intel, AmEx and Exxon Mobil.
