With about 30 minutes to spare, you can make this to keep in your car, purse, or RV. It's handy, safe from little ones, and waterproof.

My son's most prized possessions in his toys are his jets and airplanes. He will always keep them in a safe place and never brings them outside, he's afraid he may lose or break one. So, instead, he asked if we could replicate the jet in a paper version so he can bring it to play with at the park. This was very easy to make!

I wanted to make a couple of indoor/outdoor bunnies. By using pressure treated wood, these cute friends can be used in various areas, adding a welcoming look to your home and garden for a very minimal amount of money and can be used seasonally and then put into storage after.

Create Bug Art from Labels for Story Time
By 15mhhm15
While the kids love drawing, they will still sometimes request me to draw too! They wanted me to draw some bugs, spiders, flies, etc. and then they both told stories based on the bug art I drew them.

I found 2 lanterns in great shape at a thrift store for pennies! I wanted to transform these beauties into something other than lighting - planters! Although you find a lot of them are in black, I will transform them into a softer look.

With yarn, a crochet hook, scissors, and hot glue gun, you too can have this little gem. It sure has saved me from picking them up off the floor!

Christening Candles with Drip Catcher
By katrine2706
I'm serving another special occasion. Part of the ceremony is the lighting of candles. It has already become a practice in the modern generation to beautify these candles to serve as souvenirs after use.

These pendants are easy to make out of old envelopes, magazines, or gift wrap. They are sturdy, solid, and very pretty. If you love to construct beaded jewelry you can make a stash of them to incorporate into your designs or simply thread one onto a chain or cord for a dainty necklace.

Adding Embroidery Details to a Baby Quilt
By R Barbara
I made this baby quilt for my most recent grandchild. Each of his siblings received a very similar quilt when they were babies. They are all made using 1930s reproduction print cotton quilting fabric and a pattern I saw years ago in a book on making quilts using reproduction fabrics.

We recently bought a package of dog poop bags with a dispenser. The dispenser broke almost immediately, leaving us with a bunch of bag rolls without a way to carry them with us. I designed this easy to make fabric pouch that clips to our leash.

Keep Cross Stitch Material Clean With an Old Sock
By Marti S.
I do a lot of cross stitching and have often found the material at the bottom to be more soiled than I thought it should be. I figured that this was because of my arm rubbing against the material on the scroll bar. I took one of hubby's socks, cut the ribbing off and slipped it on my arm; no more soil!
