Let's Talk About Election 2020 Hello! Looking for a way to engage with your kids around the election? KQED is here for you. As back to school and election season unfold, we are amplifying student voices and facilitating civic engagement. The KQED Youth Media Challenge: Let’s Talk About Election 2020 invites middle and high school students to share their personal perspectives through audio and video commentaries that span topics like immigration, college affordability, healthcare and climate change. We invite you to listen to what these young people have to say. While these students are too young to vote, they are deeply engaged in the local and national policies that will affect their lives. And if you have a middle or high school aged student, you can watch and discuss these videos with them — and share this program page with their teachers to bring the youth media challenge to your school. This project is an opportunity for your student to engage with and learn from their peers and add their voice to the conversation. | | Vote for the Climate | Bishop O Dowd High School, Oakland |
