| | Just 1 more day to submit to our RealLIST Engineers! Hey Baltimore, hope you're all well this hump day. If you don't know me, I'm Sameer, Technical.ly's editor overseeing our coverage of Baltimore and DC. If you do know me, nice to be in touch! This week, I'm down in the nation's capital with Technical.ly reporter Michaela Althouse taking in all things DC Startup Week. It's been exciting to learn about how founders, technologists, investors and others in the DMV's innovation ecosystem actually interface with this ever-dynamic market. But it's also been humbling to learn (or, more accurately, be reminded of) just how much developers and engineers actually do. Many of you transcend whatever expectations your titles (CTO, software engineer, etc.) might convey and embody technological innovation in all of your work. Just as many match that brilliance with a dedication to your tech communities, whether by mentoring younger colleagues or running meetups on your own time. Whether this describes you or a technologist you know, we want to hear from you. Tomorrow is the last day to nominate people for our 2022 RealLIST Engineers, our annual list of influential developers and other technologists across our markets. If you know someone who fits the bill — especially if you are that person — please do so by EOB tomorrow, Sept. 15, via this form. Thanks, and if you're at DC Startup Week, please drop a line! – Technical.ly editor Sameer Rao (sameer@technical.ly) P.S. Below, you'll also spot the latest story from This Week in Milwaukee Rising. This Technical.ly series highlights the social entrepreneurs, civic technologists and creative innovators who are most shaping the Midwest city, especially those focused on bringing a more just, equitable and dynamic Milwaukee economy.
