Survey finds more companies offer paid parental leave
A Society for Human Resource Management survey found 35% of employers offered paid maternity leave in 2018, an increase from 26% in 2016, while paid paternity leave increased from 21% to 29%. The survey of more than 3,500 human resources professionals showed 34% of organizations increased benefits over the past year, including telecommuting and company-organized fitness challenges.

A survey by the Education Week Research Center has found 40% of teachers and school administrators have witnessed or experienced sexual harassment or assault, with 25% of women and 6% of men reporting victimization. Experts cite poorly designed training and permissive school culture for a lack of accountability.
