Dearest Friends,
California’s spring weather has been playing games with our hearts, but this week the weather gods have finally decided to smile down upon us. That means one thing for the crew here at Levo, tasting through our library whites at lunch. During our rendezvous, we happened upon a couple of delicious delights and, of course, wanted to share them with you.
We only have a few cases of each left (we may have double-dipped in an effort to chase away our S.A.D.), so they’ll be gone fast. Check out their details below and order through the website or call/email Lizz ASAP if you'd like to secure some of these heavenly throwbacks. Shipping is on us for any orders of a case or more.

2015 Shades of Yellow 100% Chardonnay Murmur Vineyard 100% New French Oak Puncheons (500L) Barrel fermented and aged on the fine lees for 9 months I'm so proud of how this wine has held up over the past 8 years. Looking back, I think this is one of the best white wines we've made to date. Not only was it very popular upon release, but has proven through the test of time that it was a well-made wine. I can't wait to see what you all think. In the glass the wine has a gorgeous golden-green hue. The lifted nose is all citrus and nectarine soar out of the glass. The mid pallet is wide and makes way for waves of brioche, creme brulee with baking spice accents. The finish is long with great acidity and freshness.

2015 White Noise 45% Grenache Blanc, 31% Roussanne, 24% Viognier Vineyards: Thompson (GB), Stolpman (Roussane) , Murmur (Viognier) Barrel fermented and aged on the fine lees for 9 months. Vessels: 33% New French Oak, 33% Neutral French Oak, and 34% stainless steel
This wine is a departure from the Chardonnay in a pleasant way. The nose is much more exotic - the 2015 White Noise is a wine built more on texture and richness rather than acidity and freshness. This white blend is a golden yellow on the pour, settling into the glass a more honey-like hue. Aromatically this wine explodes with notes of jasmin, almond, and pollen. The palate is medium-light in body, with a voluptuous oily texture finishing with a light but present acidity—a fabulous example of a nicely aged Rhone white wine.
