| Menopause does not begin and end with one hallmark event. It is an evolving transition that can affect every woman differently. Women impacted by cancer may start menopause earlier than their peers due to treatment. This experience may result in more intense physical side effects, which can lead to feelings of isolation, fear, and anxiety. Mindfulness-Based Menopausal Transition is an online wellness workshop designed to give women the coping skills, group support, and health information they need to have a better menopause experience at any age. Led by an MSK Integrative Medicine doctor and an MSK mind-body therapist, you will learn body awareness and self-compassion, two mindfulness meditation techniques to prepare for challenging moments. The group will also practice reflective writing and discuss the menopausal transition during and after cancer treatment. | | |

| People with cancer may experience a loss of muscle mass that can lead to ongoing weakness and fatigue. In this six-week class series, an MSK clinical fitness specialist will teach you how to use resistance bands to rebuild strength for all of your large muscle groups. Resistance bands are designed to help you with stretching and muscle strength training. They work like weights, except that instead of gravity pulling down on your muscles, you are using the tension in the elastic band.
