INDUSTRY NEWS: Events Industry Council launched EIC Knowledge Hub, a new online learning platform for event professionals with education, best practices, courses, and more. The new hub allows event professionals to take courses and sessions on topics such as sustainability, risk management, meeting or event design, and strategic planning. LOS ANGELES: S Bar opened on January 17 adjacent to the Philippe Starck-designed Katsuya space in Brentwood. The new mixology-focused lounge from hospitality group SBE serves creative cocktails paired with a Katsuya-influenced menu from SBE chief culinary officer Martin Heierling.
