I was constantly told to push my shoulders back growing up. As the tallest girl in every class (and now often the tallest woman in the room), I found myself slouching down to “reduce” some of my height. Combine that with hours slouched over a desk and you’ve got a recipe for poor posture. Seems bad, right? Reporter Jillian Wilson looked into the health benefits of standing up straight — if there are even any at all.
