|
HINTS AND TIPS | Make the most of your next walk. |
| | | DON'T SHOOT EMPTY FOREGROUNDS Complement distant scenery with closer details. Experiment with different compositions and shooting angles. |
| | | | TRY A TELEPHOTO LENS Not every shot needs a wide field of view. Increase your focal length to capture detail. |
| | | | WORK WITH THE BEST LIGHT Harsh light can cause too much contrast. If it’s too bright outside, come back later in the day when the light softens. |
| | | | STRAIGHTEN YOUR HORIZON To keep your camera and the horizon level, use your thirds grid in Live View or set up a tripod with a spirit level. |
| | | | KEEP EVERYTHING IN FOCUS Use a narrower aperture like f/8 to make sure everything in your foreground and background is in focus. |
| | | | GO HIGHER OR LOWER Try not to shoot everything at eye level. Experiment with shooting at different heights for interesting results. |
