On Your Guest List? U.S. Championship Cheeses
May is filled with memorable moments—from graduation to Memorial Day celebrations, so why not serve party foods starring winning cheeses from U.S. Championship Cheese Contests? Hosted by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association, this contest helps you to know which cheeses are the best in class (just like the people you're celebrating with). Wisconsin again made the grade this year by winning more accolades than any other state, including 51 Best of Class awards. Drum roll, please, as we present past and present winners…

Every gathering needs a signature drink. Whether you and your guests prefer mocktails or cocktails, these specialty cheese pairings promise a good time.

Paloma + Parmesan: Sweet, nutty parmesan pairs with the citrusy goodness

Mojito + Canela: The cheese's complex flavor and honey notes mingle with mint

Margarita + Feta: Skip the salty rim and let tart, fresh feta be the star of the show

Sangria + Merlot BellaVitano®: Pick this fruity pairing with plum and berry notes
Handcrafted in small batches and aged for at least two years, Vintage Cūpola Artisan Cheese by Red Barn Family Farms won big as the First Runner Up at the 2023 U.S. Championship Cheese Contest. This American Original is smooth and supple with crystallization, boasting flavor layered with nuttiness, caramelization and notes of toasted pineapple. Pair it with tropical fruits or smoky charcuterie for the ultimate tasting experience.
