Check out the latest products to hit Apogee's shelves! Price Increase Coming | We wanted to give you a head's up announcement that there will be a small price increase on Apogee and DynaStar items at the beginning of May. Sorry for the sad news, but we have not had a price increase on the items we produce in-house since 2013. This is your chance to stock up before the increase takes effect. Note: Items we get from other vendors are not being increased, it is just the ones we make ourselves.
| Mad Cow Rocketry just released 14 new fiberglass nose cones. These are hand lay-up nose cones, so they are lighter in weight and less expensive than filament-wound nose cones. Because they are fiberglass, they are durable and accept paint easily. We'll get more of these nose cones up on our web site in the coming days. But if you want to know sizes and shapes, please give us a call. | |
| We call this collection of six vinyl stickers the Patch Batch. They look like patches, and there is a whole batch of them. When you collect all six, they can be arranged to look like a rocket as seen in the image here. Every two months we’ll release a new vinyl sticker. The sticker doesn't cost anything when you place a regular order! But you have to claim it by clicking the link above. | |
| We created this special motor mount kit because of a request by a few TARC teams. The motor mount centers a 24mm diameter tube inside a 3-inch thin-wall tube. It features plywood centering rings for extra strength, and also comes with a standard engine hook for easy motor installation | |
29mm Rocket Display Stand | This was another requested item from a customer. They wanted a plywood version of the simple stand we came out with a couple of months ago. Plywood is stronger than cardstock, and therefore it can take a lot more abuse from people that want to touch your rockets in your display area. This simple stand allows you to stand your rockets upright for storage and to show off the great craftsmanship of your models. Fits rocket kits with a 29mm engine mount tube.
| The U-838 HD video camera offers the capability to take incredible video footage from your model rockets. The camera is small, weighing only 19.9 g (0.67 ounces). It can easily be strapped onto rockets that use C size rocket motors.Video resolution is an incredible 1920 X 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second! With this camera, you can see how cool it would be to actually sit on your rocket as it takes off. | |

"Rarely have I found better prices and never have I found better service." -- Wendell Rhodes | | I need help with generating the biweekly newsletter articles, since it takes a lot of effort to put them together. And I'm willing to pay big bucks for your help. So ask yourself, are you looking to earn some extra money? I'm now actively seeking writers for articles to appear in this newsletter. And I want unique and cutting-edge articles, because that is what you want to read, right? I realize this, so to get articles from outside writers that have the same level of quality, I'm going to have to pay a lot of cash to make it worth it for them. So I've come up with a compensation package where I'll pay up to $350 for good how-to articles. Are you a writer, and does that interest you? That is a lot of cash! Far more than you'll get by writing for other magazines. And with over 23,000 worldwide subscribers, if you write for the Peak-of-Flight Newsletter, you'll gain a lot of notoriety. Writing for the Peak-of-Flight Newsletter is a great way to show off your rocketry projects and your technical expertise, at the same time as helping out other rocketeers. Imagine how great you'll feel knowing that you made a difference to the hobby. If you're interested in writing, see the guidelines on our site.
