Earlier today, sirens pierced the skies over central Israel. A ballistic missile was launched by Iran-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen, targeting innocent lives. The IDF intercepted it before it could cross our borders—but while one threat was stopped, another struck brutally and without warning. In Yokneam, an Israeli Arab terrorist drove into an 18-year-old soldier waiting at a bus stop. He then stabbed the young man, stole his weapon, and opened fire on passing vehicles. Moshe Horn, an 85-year-old member of Kibbutz Hazorea, was shot and killed while sitting in his car. The soldier was evacuated to Rambam Hospital in critical condition. He remains sedated and on a respirator. Sadly, this is the horror that Zaka Tel-Aviv responds to all the time. Our volunteers arrived quickly, providing first aid, handling the deceased with dignity, and supporting security and medical teams at the scene. We care for victims, recover every fragment of life lost, and comfort the grieving families left behind. |
