Early Sunday morning over 150 participants pushed for prevention as we skate-bike-rolled 15 miles for B4BC’s education, prevention, and survivorship programs! We took off from the Santa Monica pier and made our way to Redondo Beach, making stops along the way to hydrate and fuel with a six-mile drop-in at Dockweiler Beach. The sun, ocean breeze, and love for our breast cancer community kept us going until we crossed the finish line at Dive N Surf in Redondo Beach and celebrated with delicious food, cold drinks, live music and fun!
There we enjoyed a recovery station with ice baths & vitamin shots courtesy of LivOn Labs, delcious food from Wahoo’s Fish Tacos, cold drinks from CAPACITY, Suja Organic, Pretty Tasty Tea, Firestone Walker Beer, Seaborn, & Mate Maker Co Hard Kombucha, demo’d bikes with Super73, snacked on Kabaya Tough Gummies and candy from TACOM, and enjoyed booths from Arbor Collective, Dakine, Rock & Turf Mats and Sun Bum! Skate the Coast wrapped up with performances by Caleb Santos and Moi of Tomorrows Bad Seeds, and of course our raffles and auctions! |
