Thank you, Oregon Democrats

As we wake up today after an election where record numbers of Oregonians voted and made their voices heard, I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible hard work from Oregon Democrats all across our great state.

That hard work and dedication is why we're celebrating after voters came out in a big way to re-elect Senator Jeff Merkley and our Democratic Congressional Delegation, sending Reps. Peter DeFazio, Earl Blumenauer, Kurt Schrader, and Suzanne Bonamici back to represent Oregonians in Washington, D.C.

It's why we're celebrating huge statewide victories, electing Shemia Fagan as Oregon's next Secretary of State and putting the office back in Democratic hands, and re-electing both State Treasurer Tobias Read and State Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum.

We're also keeping an eye on results in the Oregon Legislature; a few races are too close to call, and we lost a few heartbreakers. But we maintained our majorities, and Deb Patterson in Senate District 10 (Marion, Polk), and Jason Kropf in House District 54 (Deschutes) bumped out GOP incumbents! Because of YOU, our Oregon Democratic legislators will continue to fight for our progressive values here at home.

We had wonderful candidates in EVERY state legislative race, and each one of them deserves great recognition and thanks. They spread the Democratic message in all parts of our state, and even as they may not have won their races, they contributed mightily to Oregon's huge Democratic success.

While we wait on the rest of the nation to count every single vote in the race for the White House and the Senate, we are so proud of everything that supporters like you did to elect Oregon Democrats up and down the ballot. We couldn't have done it without you. Period. Full stop.
