| THANKS. Thanks. There is no other possible word to start this brief because this is actually a thank you note. Primavera Sound Barcelona 2021 has managed to sell out all its full festival tickets and day tickets in just over a week since they went on sale on June 3rd. A historic sold out that has never happened so quickly in the history of the festival. Logically, this milestone would not have been possible without the help, complicity, and effort of all parties involved in preparing the festival. So we can only be eternally grateful to them. Thanks to the 65,000 people who, even in times as hard as the ones we are living in, have had faith in us. This is a double thanks: to all those who had their ticket for Primavera Sound Barcelona 2020 and decided to keep their ticket for next year, who have been the vast majority; and also to all the newcomers to our family: all the new buyers who have shown that there is hope for massive live music events and have decided that their passion for music is stronger than the fear of uncertainty.
That’s why we couldn’t be prouder of the Primavera Sound community. We told you that we couldn't do it without you and your response has been as overwhelming as it has been exciting. We love you. You are our family.
Thanks also to all the artists without whose complicity we could not have completed the Primavera Sound Barcelona 2021 lineup in record time. And what artists! The lineup of 2021 is amazing in all its aspects because in it are the vast majority of the names that had already confirmed their presence in 2020 and have wanted to continue being present in 2021, plus all those who have joined to make this lineup the best in the history of the festival.
Thank you to all the sponsors, collaborators and partners for believing in us and renewing their involvement in the festival just when we needed it most. And thanks to all the workers who in these dark months have multiplied their effort in unusual conditions and have accepted the challenge of announcing the lineup in an adverse context. Proud of our team, too.
The alignment of all these stars has given the result that we all know: sold out in record time. Without #bestaudienceforever, without #bestlineupforever, without #bestsponsorsforever and without #bestteamforever #bestfestivalforever would not be possible. So no, we will not get tired of repeating it: thank you. To each and every one of you. Can do with you.
