Dear Reader, Did you know the process of making ‘eco-friendly’ EVs causes the cars to have a bigger carbon footprint than conventional vehicles? Nickel’s highly polluting, acid-leaching process has a lot to do with this. To their credit, EV manufacturers are starting to set things straight. For instance, Elon Musk promises a giant contract for companies who can ‘mine nickel efficiently and in an environmentally sensitive way’. I believe one Aussie miner has the potential to do this. Because not only can it mine nickel sustainably, it can also process that nickel into battery chemicals…using a technology so advanced, it’s actually carbon negative. Right now looks like the perfect time to get into this stock. Because the company’s nickel project is still in the early stages, you can buy the stock cheap at just 10 cents at time of writing. It’s a speculative investment, but if I’m right and it lives up to its potential, the stock price could rise and reward early investors.
