A Message From the Editor

Good morning. The 2025 Am Law 100 rankings are out, along with insightful analysis. You can read some of the coverage here. Also, more lawyers have resigned from Big Law firms that reached settlements with the Trump administration. And a U.S. judge has blocked the executive order the President issued against Susman Godfrey, calling it a "shocking abuse of power." Tariffs are still in the news, and a lawsuit has been filed in the U.S. trade court. In Canada, meanwhile, litigators are reacting to major changes expected to the rules of civil procedure in Ontario, Canada's largest court system.
