Incumbent Rep. Angie Craig faces a real challenge from Republican Tyler Kistner.
| Monday, June 13 So long, mild summer. Hot, hot temps are on the way. A heat advisory is in effect Monday afternoon for the southern half of Minnesota and into western Wisconsin. The Twin Cities area is next, with an excessive heat warning for most of Tuesday. Here's our advice for staying cool and safe during a heat wave. Thermometers will read in the mid- to upper-90s, but the heat index will be in the triple digits for many spots Tuesday afternoon, including the Twin Cities where it could get as high as 103. The heat will break Wednesday before returning for a steamy weekend. After today, the PM update is on a brief hiatus. We'll be back next week. | |
