LSU is playing West Virginia this weekend in an NCAA super regional. Everyone knows that. But what do we know about the Mountaineers, a team that the Tigers have never played before in baseball? Well, fear not (don't know why you would have feared; it's just a saying). Anyway, our Koki Riley is here with the lowdown, the 4-1-1, the important details on the visitors from the East. Meanwhile, yours truly is here with a column on the Tigers' good and bad points going into the super. Here's a tidbit from the column to get you going: Did you know LSU has the same record, 46-15, that it did going into the super regional in 2023? And, lastly but not least, Reed Darcey gives us this feature on LSU shortstop Steven Milam and how his bat may be heating up with the weather at a great time for the Tigers. Before we go, here's a friendly reminder about this weekend's schedule: Game 1 is at 1 p.m. Saturday on ESPN and Game 2 is at 5 p.m. Sunday on ESPN2. Game time for a Game 3 if necessary on Monday would be determined based on how many games need to be played that day. Thanks for reading and subscribing.
