To figure out the best way to give directions, researchers analyzed thousands of people telling others where to find Waldo in a Where's Waldo book. Apparently, where you place a large landmark in a sentence can aid how fast someone finds him! Click here to read more on the fascinating study.

Library Card Socks are my favorite thing on this list of brilliant gifts under $10, but I'd happily take a couple of the caffeinated soaps, too.

Forensic scientists are now being encouraged to collect mosquitos from crime scenes. Apparently, the DNA from the blood sitting in the insects' bellies could give investigators clues as to who and how many people were involved in a crime.
