An investigation by The Daily uncovered a number of previously undisclosed allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct from former employees at Savaâs, a popular Ann Arbor restaurant, since June 2018.
The Daily found evidence that SavCo Hospitality management was repeatedly made aware of many of these allegations, which ranged from sexually explicit verbal statements to groping, unwanted touching and propositions for sex.

While the Universityâs Ann Arbor campus offers free health services through UHS, students on the Flint and Dearborn campuses find it difficult to receive accessible, adequate healthcare.
Launched in 2018 by a coalition of faculty and students to equip the U-M Flint and U-M Dearborn campuses with more resources, the One University Campaign has set achieving on-campus medical facilities as one of the campaignâs seven goals.
According to Catherine Badgley, program director of the Residential College, only one of every two students who enter the RC graduate with a degree in the RC program.
Citing strenuous requirements, RC students have difficulties juggling the RC program curriculum alongside their other coursework.
The School for Environment and Sustainability hosted the 30th annual Michigan Environmental Justice Summit this Thursday.
Featuring several panelists from around the country, the event discussed and honored environmental activistsâ progress since the first summit in 1990.
Despite being swept in their mid-November series, Michigan menâs hockey comfortably handled Michigan State this Friday, beating the team 5-1.
Senior forward Jake Slaker netted two goals for the Wolverines, continuing their winning streak in which Michigan has won 22 of their last 27 conference points.
