About 400 University of Michigan Housing residential advisers, peer academic success specialists, diversity peer educators and other staff members participated in three collaborative marches across Central Campus, North Campus and the Hill Neighborhood Monday evening.
Dear subscribers,
Yesterday, about 400 people protested for students of color by walking dorm to dorm around campus. We have a breakdown of the Michigan hockey team, as well as a feature on Nolan De Jong in this week's b-side. Even though Michigan football has one of the best defenses, they're still looking for ways to improve. And finally, we remember activist and Daily alum Tom Hayden, who passed away at the age of 76.
All the best,

De Jong has seemed destined for his position since he started skating in Canada at age 2, but it wasnât always that simple.
The second-ranked Wolverines have allowed the fewest total yards in the nation while ranking first in passing defense and fourth in rushing defense.

Michigan has one of the largest living alumni at around 526,000.
