More than 100 students, faculty members and Ann Arbor residents discussed tensions in the campus climate at the University of Michigan and elsewhere in the country following President-elect Donald Trumpâs controversial victory at an LSA event Monday evening.

The University's Provost Martha Pollack has been appointed the president of Cornell University. The Muslim Students' Association held a group prayer on the Diag last night following hate crimes that have occurred on campus, and LSA hosted a dialogue to discuss the results of the presidential election. About 300 students and faculty gathered Monday night in the Diag for a group Isha prayers, or the fifth and final daily Islamic prayer, held by the University of Michigan Muslim Studentsâ Association following threats against Muslim women on campus this week.
