AWP is almost upon us!

Next week, over 12,000 attendees-writers, editors, publishers, teachers, students, and book lovers-will descend upon Tampa, Florida for four days of literary madness. It is wonderful, and also terribly overwhelming.

On Friday, we'll be sharing a Rumpus Guide to AWP 2018, highlighting a selection of panels, readings, and events that we're especially excited for, including our own offsite event! It's going to be a night to remember, and I'll be wearing a jumpsuit for the very first time.

And, I'll be a part of this panel on Friday, and moderating this panel on Saturday. Please come if you are interested and available! These will be my first AWP panels and I'd love to see your friendly faces in the audience.

We also recommend remembering to drink a lot of water, tossing a few granola bars in your tote bag of choice, getting some sleep, and stopping by The Rumpus bookfair tables (T720 & T722) to say hi and score kickass Rumpus merch, including our limited-edition Dear Sugar WLAMF mug and a brand-new, limited-run mug in celebration of the Rumpus matriarchy!

Because I'll be traveling next week, and usually feel like I've been run over by a train in the days following my return from AWP, The Daily Rumpus will be taking a short hiatus. We'll resume weekly newsletters on Tuesday, 3/20.

Finally, you have just one day left to take advantage of our awesome February promotion! Through February 28, purchase a yearly Letters in the Mail subscription or a 6-month Rumpus Book Club subscription and we'll send you your own signed, hardcover copy of An American Marriage by Tayari Jones! Already have a subscription? Just extend or convert it and we'll send you the book! Offer valid while supplies last. Due to shipping costs, this offer is only available for US subscriptions. And stay tuned, because we've got more exciting promotions coming your way in March, April, and June! Remember, our subscription programs (Book Club, Poetry Book Club, Letters in the Mail, and Letters for Kids) keep The Rumpus afloat. So, you can put yourself in direct communication with your favorite authors and keep The Rumpus running at the same time!

Love,
Marisa
