TheFIGARO-DKD trial is an international, multicenter, phase 3, randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, event-driven clinical trial, in which 7,437 adults (≥18 years old) patients with T2D and Stage 1-4 CKD treated with either ACE-R or ACB at the maximum dose and having serum potassium level of 4.8mmol/L or less at the time of screening were randomized from September 2015 through October 2018.
