DeerLake Weekly Letter, Where's the Line to see Jesus.

So many fun Christmas shows to watch this time of year. All you need is at least one friend to share some holiday cheer.
This weekend is the Flathead Valley, Christmas at Our House dinner. The Montana Army National Guard puts together a Christmas dinner, free for the community. With a donation of a can of food, you can enjoy the day out and enjoy a great meal.

Over 6 months ago I started with a hernia problem. My thought back then was, seems like a common problem that is most likely an easy fix. I waited a month or so to see if it would maybe stop bothering me. It only got worse. Went to a nearby doctor that does hernia repairs. Heck, this is going to be no big deal, I thought. I just figured that all the doctors would probably fix hernias the same way. No need for a second opinion, (so I thought). A couple weeks later I go in for the hernia surgery. Ouch! After a week the pain eased-up a bit, however I'm still feeling like there's a hole, the same hole (hernia). Unbelieveable, the hole was smaller but still there. Another week goes by, I go back to see the surgeon, He confirms, indeed you still have a hernia, "the mesh must have moved or somehow it slipped by the mesh". Another two months go by, hernia is getting worse again, I did not want to go in for another surgery. So my advise to you is, get a second opinion and find out all your options. Another good idea, get a few referrals as to which doctor is thought to be among the best. To finish my story, I did get a different doctor to patch me up. Feeling nearly perfect now, ready for plenty of Christmas fun.

Country Christmas Poem. (and Video)

My mind begins to wander
to them days of long ago.
I’d hear the bells on jingle-sleighs
and feel the cold wet snow.

Where's the line to see Jesus? He was born for me.
Having been taught as a toddler that Christmas is the holiday that Christians celebrate the birth of God's son.

White Christmas’ was playing.

I would never forget
those moments divine,
or think it quite silly
with passage of time.

The snowdrifts are piled deep
And traffic is a slow creep,
The weather out is frightful
But the fireside is delightful.
