Things to do this Weekend

There’s a ton of stuff happening in the Bangor area this weekend, so let’s get right to it. For your entertainment pleasure, Friday night’s lineup includes Hootie and the Blowfish with Collective Soul and Edwin McCain at the Maine Savings Amphitheater; local improv group The Focus Group at the Bangor Arts Exchange; and the Penobscot Theatre Co. opens its big summer musical, “Little Shop of Horrors.” On Saturday, comedian Tom Segura is at the Cross Insurance Center, and that night, there’s the first of several Bangor Night Markets of the season, set for 4 to 10 p.m. on the Bangor waterfront and featuring tons of vendors, food trucks and musicians throughout the evening.
