Over 200 million women and girls alive today have been forced to undergo female genital mutilation (FGM). A further 68 million girls could join their number by 2030 unless more progress is made in eradicating the practice. Teliwel Diallo endured FGM twice before the age of 16 and has become a powerful campaigner against the practice. |
