It depends on the type. If it involves an egg retrieval, fertilization, or implantation, it’s common to go through multiple rounds. That’s because, typically, only 70%–80% of eggs retrieved are viable, just 70- 80% of those viable eggs will fertilize, and only 50% of fertilized eggs make it to the stage where they’re ready for implantation. |
