I love doing my taxes. They’re very simple, which helps. But I enjoy the mental freedom from getting them out of the way, I feel organized having completed such a big task, and I especially love getting my return as soon as possible. Although I finished my 2020 taxes last Thursday night, I still haven’t been able to file them. That’s because the IRS pushed back tax season and won’t even start accepting 2020 returns until February 12. More than 15.9 million Americans reportedly moved during the pandemic. As a result, rental prices have shifted across the country. A new study from the business research firm AdvisorSmith identified the cities where rents rose and fell the most in 2020. It found that nationwide, rent increased just 0.5%.
