The latest insights from CDP, the global environmental disclosure system

The journey to Glasgow has begun. We must halve emissions by 2030, and governments must raise their climate ambition by COP26 in November to meet this critical deadline. COVID-19 is still with us, but the vaccine demonstrates the power of science and data in solving complex problems. Now we must apply this resolve to solving the crises of climate change, deforestation and water security.

Companies, investors, cities, states and regions will play a vital role, and despite the pandemic their ambition to do so is at an all-time high. Last year CDP celebrated both its 20th anniversary and a milestone 10,000 disclosing entities. Increasing disclosure and management of environmental risks will be essential in building a better tomorrow.

In 2021, CDP is here to support our stakeholders in the journey to a net-zero thriving economy.
