The baseball team has a key weekend series at Mississippi State. Freshman Grant Taylor will likely pitch at some point, and you can learn more about the math nerd/Rubik's cube enthusiast who found a role on this staff. Over at spring football, LSU continued to tinker with its offensive line on the seventh day of practice, putting a freshman with the the first team. And while it's too early to name starters at any position, one linebacker has asserted himself. Elsewhere, men's basketball coach Matt McMahon finalized his staff Thursday, which you can see here, and LSU pitcher Ali Kilponen is trying a couple different things to get more consistent.
