NEW Children's Area Now Open
What does a castle, a giant lite brite, a reading rocket ship, a hobbit hole, DUPLOs, and books all have in common? They can all be found in the new children's area on the second floor! We're so excited about this new space, and we know kids are going to be over the moon! Next time you come to the library, bring your kids, and plan to stay awhile. Check it out!

Pete the Cat Concert
Free tickets for this event will be available May 29, the Tuesday after Memorial Day. We're getting groovy with Eric Litwin at this pre-Summer Reading event! Enjoy a performance by a song-singing, guitar-strumming, #1 New York Times bestselling author who brings together early literacy and music. Litwin is the original author of the Pete the Cat series as well as the author of The Nuts and Groovy Joe

Library Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Mark your calendars for June 4 at 1pm! On that day, we will cut the ribbon to the new expansion, and all areas will be officially open! Come check out our new and much larger library program space, the River Room, and the new Friends of the Library Lilian Lindsey Bookstore
