Editor's Notes Some recent data out of D.C. has us wondering how things are playing out on the ground around the country. On Wednesday, Economic Innovation Group leaders reported that federal data is showing some signs of small business recovery in the D.C. area, and that's in line with national trends. It's natural to think why this might be the case: COVID-19 restrictons that left businesses closed are being eased, and more vaccinations are giving folks confidence to go out again. Offering more economic evidence, the consumer price index, which tracks the price of goods and services that businesses sell, jumped more than expected last week. But we're wondering how this is playing out for the folks selling and generating interest. Are you seeing a small business recovery where you are? What would it take to get there?
