Coming up this weekend
Our live offering kicks off on Saturday with updates from day seven at the Australian Open. While play is taking place in Melbourne, we'll also have minute-by-minute coverage of Newcastle v Bournemouth in the Premier League (12.30pm, all times GMT). Saturday's clockwatch (3pm) will take in Brentford v Liverpool, Leicester v Fulham and West Ham v Palace, alongside the pick of the action in the Football League and Scottish Cup. Attention then turns to Arsenal v Aston Villa (5.30pm), with the day's results offering potential for Liverpool to lead the title race by seven points, or for Mikel Arteta's side to have cut the deficit to a solitary point.

Once again, the Australian Open takes centre-stage for the early Sunday action, with a lengthy list of fourth-round matches in store. At 2pm, David Moyes eyes his first points since returning to Merseyside, as Everton host Tottenham, before Liam Delap hopes to lead the line against his former club – Ipswich host Manchester City at 4.30pm. Rounding off Sunday's live football action, it's the Manchester derby in the WSL as City host United at the Etihad (6.45pm).
