Coming up this weekend
The live action starts on Friday with our coverage of the historic all-women boxing card at London's Royal Albert Hall from around 7pm (all times GMT).

Then it's into a busy Saturday. It kicks off with our early Premier League minute-by-minute report of Nottingham Forest v Manchester City, with kick-off at 12.30pm. Then comes the first of the Six Nations games as Ireland take on France at 2.15pm. We return to football with our wide-ranging clockwatch covering everything from Liverpool v Southampton (3pm) in the Premier League to Football League updates. Then it is back to the Six Nations where Scotland will host Wales as they hope for their second win of the tournament (4.45pm) before we end the night with a Premier League double-header as Brentford host Aston Villa (5.30pm) and Everton visit Wolves at 8pm.

Sunday begins with a mouthwatering Champions Trophy cricket final from 9am as India take on New Zealand. Then it's football galore. Tottenham host Bournemouth in the Premier League (2pm) before Liverpool take on Arsenal in the Women's FA Cup (2.30pm). We wrap things up with a tasty encounter as Manchester United welcome Arsenal to Old Trafford (4.30pm). Enjoy!

… there is a very good reason why not to support the Guardian

Not everyone can afford to pay for news. That is why our website is open to everyone.

But – if you can afford to do so – here are three good reasons why you might consider becoming a Guardian supporter today:

1

Your funding means we can be completely independent

2

High-quality, trustworthy journalism is a public good

3

You can support us however you like

Help power the Guardian’s journalism at a time when misinformation is rife online and good news can be hard to find. It could be a one-off payment or a regular monthly amount of your choice. Thank you.
