Coming up this weekend
The live action starts on Friday with our Women's Super League clockwatch, featuring key-match updates on Everton v Arsenal (7pm, all times GMT) and Liverpool v Manchester United (7.15pm).

Then it's into an extremely busy Saturday. It kicks off early with a lap-by-lap report of Australian GP qualifying. How will Lewis Hamilton fair in Ferrari red? You can find out from 5am. At 12.15pm we'll have minute-by-minute updates of Chelsea v Manchester City in the Women's League Cup final. The first of three potentially title-defining Six Nations matches begins at 2.15pm, when Italy host title-chasing Ireland on the final day of this year's competition. We'll have updates on that. Our 3pm football clockwatch will take in Manchester City v Brighton, Ipswich v Nottingham Forest and more. At 4.45pm it's Wales v England in the Six Nations, with Steve Borthwick's team also in the title hunt. At 5.30pm we head down to south coast for a meeting of two of the Premier League's most entertaining sides with Bournemouth hosting Brighton. And at 8pm it's off to Paris for France v Scotland, with Les Bleus also looking to end the day as Six Nations champions.

Sunday begins at 5am with lap-by-lap updates on the season-opening F1 Australian Grand Prix. Our focus will be on the Scottish Premiership at 12.30pm, when Celtic host Rangers in the Old Firm derby. At 1.30pm it's Arsenal v Chelsea in the Premier League and then across town at 4.30pm Liverpool look to bounce back from their Champions League pain when they take on Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley. Could Eddie Howe end the Magpies' long wait for silverware? Our live coverage wraps up on Sunday at 7pm with relegation-threatened Leicester v Manchester United in the Premier League.

… there is a very good reason why not to support the Guardian

Not everyone can afford to pay for news. That is why our website is open to everyone.

But – if you can afford to do so – here are three good reasons why you might consider becoming a Guardian supporter today:

1

Your funding means we can be completely independent

2

High-quality, trustworthy journalism is a public good

3

You can support us however you like

Help power the Guardian’s journalism at a time when misinformation is rife online and good news can be hard to find. It could be a one-off payment or a regular monthly amount of your choice. Thank you.
