In LSU's first gymnastics meet of the season, Haleigh Bryant was just a spectator because of a December elbow injury. In the Tigers' second meet, Bryant was a bit player, whose one routine on balance beam didn't count toward LSU's team total. Friday night in the No. 2 Tigers' SEC opener against No. 7 Florida in the PMAC, it was Bryant coming through in the clutch as ever. After posting a winning score of 9.95 on balance beam, Bryant was a late addition to LSU's floor exercise lineup in the anchor position. The Tigers needed a 9.85 from her to beat the Gators. The result? Well, you'll have to click here to find out. But, as you might expect, she did what "GOATs" (Greatest Of All Time) usually do. The LSU men's basketball team, fresh off its first SEC victory of the season against Arkansas, is back on the road Saturday night to face No. 11 Texas A&M. Our Toyloy Brown has a preview focused on Jordan Sears, who accepted a reserve role against the Razorbacks to LSU's great benefit. Finally, we have a photo gallery from the talented Michael Johnson from Friday's gymnastics meet. Thanks for reading and subscribing, everyone. Enjoy your sports weekend. Scott Rabalais |
