Bay Area Kids Reveal Their Go-to Spots for a Delicious Meal | First of four special episodes premieres tonight at 7:30 pm on KQED 9 | | Check, Please! Bay Area Kids is the same show you know and love, but with young foodies sharing their opinions of each other's favorite restaurants with host Leslie Sbrocco. Ages 10 through 14 years old and hailing from all corners of the Bay, these junior critics dish about what's good, what's bad and what's downright delicious! Tonight's episode kicks off with a visit to Dipsea Café, a Mill Valley breakfast institution. Our first guest loves steak n' eggs and ginormous fluffy pancakes. After breakfast, these kids take us to Ca'Momi Osteria in downtown Napa, home to authentic Pizza Napoletana and classic Italian cinema. Last but not least, a Pittsburg musical performer dishes on New Mecca Cafe, where three generations of her family have enjoyed their delicious bean dip. New episodes of Check, Please! Bay Area Kids air Tuesdays at 7:30 pm on KQED 9 through October 22. | |
