The sad saga of the old Wyndham Gardens Lafayette hotel

By ADAM DAIGLE | Acadiana Business Editor

Good morning, loyal Acadiana Business newsletter followers. On to some quick headlines:

It's been three years since I last heard about the Wyndham Gardens Lafayette. Back then the owners were capitalizing on the COVID-induced trend of converting empty hotels into workforce-type housing.

But it was an ugly ending. Popular night club Scandal's got kicked out, and the building gradually became an eyesore along one of Lafayette's busiest throughfares. And a massive lien has been placed on the project.

You can read the full story here.

Have a great day and thanks for reading.
