The saltwater's back: For the third year in a row, the Corps is forced to build an underwater levee to stop the encroachment of saltwater moving up the Mississippi River. Mike Smith has the details. Remembering Katrina: Officials gathered across the metro area Thursday to commemorate the 19th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. Some are saying that there should be an official state holiday to help better recognition of the trauma many suffered, as well as the strides that have since been made. James Finn has the story. Five decades of decadence: Labor Day weekend is here, and in New Orleans that means Southern Decadence. Desiree Stennett has a look at the festival's history and what it's grown into today.
